the main role as you all know is Amitabh Bachchan who delivered fantastic acting performance! In addition to Amitabh Bachchan brilliant acting the Coolie will be remember for the movie where Big-B almost lost his life in one of the fight sequence. The impact on Amitabh Bachchan injury on the people was great, people went to the temples to have a prays for his sack and all the nation was worried that he might not get throw..


Eventually he made it as we all know and everybody got relief.
Amitabh bachchan resumed and the film shooting were completed. At this point i'd like to mention two points which distinguish Indian Cinema perception from the western cinema perception:


1. After the accident on the set Manmohan Desai, the director has decided to change the ending. The Original ending was that Iqbal Khan (Amitabh Bachchan) should die. However, since the injury event on the set that coused great concern among the Indian people the script has changed and he stayed a live.     


2. Since than every time the movie is getting to the particular sequence where Amitabh Bachchan was injured than the movie stops and a slide pop up to inform the audience that right here Amitabh bachchan almost got him self killed.


My question is have you ever encounter in a movie made in the west that the viewers are being notified (in the film itself) about some incidents happened behind the screens?
