We have seen it many times, we are celebrating our holidays based on the Ramayan, it is actually everywhere around us but still it is always sparks our curiosity and imagination and we crave to see more! 

Zee TV  Now launches a new production to tell the great tell of the Ramayan.  It is  a brand new avatar of Ramayan, made by the same enterprising individuals at Ramanand Sagar, the folks you brought you the previous edition of Ramayan in its most popular and renowned form on Doordarshan, in an era long gone by and past us now.

This is the time we get the new generation of the Ramyan- A completely fresh version of the story on Zee TV, coming to you every Sunday from August 12, 2012  at 11 am!

It will be a brand new meeting with all our beloved characters that we already know since the day we were born.

Check out the characterization on this particular version of the Ramayan seems to have been nothing short of perfect. For instance, we have almost definite news that Binny Sharma, seen on popular shows like Dance India Dance as well as Sanjog Se Bani Sangini is quite likely to play the role of Sita. At the same time, speculation is rife that we should see Neil Bhatt of Gulaal fame is likely to play the role of Laxman. Yes, the all important character of Ram seems to be a bit of a mystery in terms of the individual essaying the role, with some quarters suggesting that it might be anyone between Avinash Sachdev, Gagan Malik, as well as Aamir Dalvi who will play the role.
